LEED certification is becoming more prevalent as the construction industry gains knowledge and insight for obtaining one of the recognized building certification levels; Certified, Silver, Gold or Platinum. Commercial and non-commercial food service operations have the potential to contribute to a number of LEED prerequisite and credit categories through equipment selection and documentation. Our main objective is to become part of the Architectural team earlier in the process to make recommendations on energy savings and where possible LEED points can be gained.
